Tennis elbow
Clinically known as Lateral Epicondilitis, Tennis Elbow is a condition characterised by pain at the bony point of the outer elbow. Named for the frequency of the condition in racquet sports, with their high-impact backhand strokes, the disorder can equally dog anyone who has strenuously overused the muscles and tendons of the forearm surrounding the elbow joint, from gardeners to office workers. You will likely notice pain in lifting, twisting gripping or bending the forearm, and a reduced capacity for each.
In our assessment, we will consider everything from your posture at a computer or at the wheel to the techniques you employ in any racquet sports or forearm-focused leisure activities you engage in.
